Descrizione

The paint engineer focus is on paint equipment, materials, facilities, paint shop process control and quality for trucks, commercial vehicles, buses and specialty vehicles

Requisiti candidato

• Master degree in engineering (chemistry or materials preferred) • Language skills: English (written and spoken) • Excellent knowledge of office, adobe, AutoCAD, MsProject • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and proactively. • Strong results-oriented approach and time management skills. • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively. • Availability to travel

Attività previste

• Provide engineering support for technical Plant initiative (project feasibility) and internal/external benchmarking. This aims to implement best practices and ensure an optimal balance of investment, costs, timing, and quality. • Draft technical specifications and manage sourcing for tools and process equipment, including pretreatment, spray booths, ovens, automation, and application tools. • Manage co-design activities with suppliers. • Supervise and coordinate the installation, commissioning, start-up, buy-off and final acceptance of new equipment. • Prepare studies to increase paint shop production capacity, reduce costs and improve quality. • Provide specialized paint process support for process or quality issues. • Conduct benchmarking of competitors and suppliers to identify more efficient new systems and technologies. • Interface with Paint Laboratory for surface treatment material homologation and Improvement. • Support quality to ensure paint process conformity. • Develop technical standards and Best Practices. • Support footprint studies for the Paint process
