Description

The Solution Design Engineer is the person embedded in the Solution Design logistics engineering team who develops and designs logistics solutions for existing and potential new customers, constantly monitoring the effectiveness of logistics decisions and developing improvement proposals

 

What responsibilities does it oversee?

• Collects data from various sources in appropriate formats for analysis;
• Processes data for analysis specifically for new projects;
• Prepares technical project documentation with emphasis on technical completeness and commercially appealing form;
• Prepares technical proposal and project scaling with accurate definition of all cost elements of specific operations related to the logistics cycle, in close collaboration with all Business Functions;
• Designs logistics solutions for new and existing Clients, incorporating cost, quality and productivity objectives and introducing innovative elements and lessons learned from previous projects;
• Obtains and formalizes feedback from client for lost and won projects;
• Supports start-ups on large orders.

Candidate requirements

What prerequisites must you have? - Bachelor's' degree in engineering - Brief previous experience in similar or warehouse logistics engineering roles - Excellent knowledge of the English language - Excellent problem solving skills - Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles - Willingness to travel frequently
