Description

We are looking for a Tear Down Specialist for our Proplusion System Dept., a brand-new team within IDV.

The Team’s mission is the development and application of new High Performance Propulsion Systems, both conventional (Diesel) and hybrid.

Candidate requirements

- Bachelor in Engineering - Fluency in Italian and English (level B2/C1), any other language is a plus

Planned activities

In this role, the candidate has to: • Organize and report the teardown of propulsion systems after bench or field testing • Report the findings supported by images, physical measurements, and laboratory analysis, highlighting the critical topics • Identify the root causes for failures or deviations, classify the source within design, material, and load factor • Correlate the teardown findings with the proto assembly certification and test history • Create and maintain the teardown database, in support of problem-solving activities and new systems design • Support the problem-solving operations for manufacturing and customer issues
