We are looking for young, talented & ambitious future Engineers who are ready to join Tetra Pak’s Production team.

Tetra Pak has an opening in Modena for Future Talent: Production Engineer to fill a rewarding and challenging role that will allow you freedom with accountability while working directly with our Projects team and customers. The successful candidate will work independently in project team with some coaching help from a colleague. Recommended to have a mentor.

The successful candidates will report to the Production Engineering Leader.

What you will do

  • Act as the entry point for the project into Production Centre organization (i.e. with ATP, P&L and PSE Quality). Secure continuous sharing of information between parties.
  • Collect, define and validate production requirements toward project.
  • Secure production readiness through dedicated checklist.
  • Define internal lead time and path sequence (assembly, test and packing) establishing the production improvement plan toward KDP12, securing quality of the product.
  • Suppliers test simulators management (manufacturing, implementation and update).
  • Support suppliers in assembly, test, packing, simulation of modules or machines and capability rump-up. Facilitate tech knowledge sharing with Project stakeholder.
  • Secure proper coordination and execution of internal production activities for commercial escalations pre KDP10 and limited deployment post KDP10.
  • Trigger activity towards related stakeholder to secure processes and data are in place for material consumables needed for external and internal Production activities e.g. Pack. Mat.
  • Drive tools (e.g. setting and lifting tools) procurement for support external and internal production.
  • During project development phases capture all technical deviations and feedback project.
  • Secure specification, technical documentation, internal operational instructions availability and capability readiness (Machine specification / FIR / technical manual association/ production manual / SOPs/ capability build-up plan).
  • Manage extra test and related cost to the project for equipment in internal production.

We believe you have

  • Masters degree in Mechatronic , Electronic or Industrial Engineering
  • Limited working experience in similar position of mechatronic industry.
  • Curiosity in leading and coordinate activities with different stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • You can work under pressure, willing to go the extra mile when needed.
  • You are well-organized and accurate, with an excellent attention to detail.
  • You can take initiative and you have a strong sense of meeting commitments.
