Description

Reporting to the Technical Director, the candidate will join the technical infrastructure and development area. The person will provide support during all phases, from feasibility analysis of new projects to testing and delivery of civil and plant works, as well as modifications to existing infrastructure. In particular, they will coordinate all various design phases in collaboration with the Technical Director, the technical team, and external design service providers. The resource will then follow the phases of contracting, implementation, and testing of projects, if necessary taking on the role of Project Manager for managing multiple contracts simultaneously. The sought person has already gained solid experience in project management in civil and/or plant construction in the infrastructure or industrial sector, thus acquiring skills in project management and overall contract management.

Candidate requirements

Requirements: Degree or master's degree in Engineering. Proven experience of at least 5 years, gained in structured companies, in project control/management/planning in sectors such as Infrastructure/Construction/Energy/Plant Engineering. Knowledge of the different types, methodologies, and technologies of civil and plant works. Skills in work management and planning, cost control, and site accounting. Ability to coordinate different projects simultaneously. Excellent knowledge of English, Office package, and main CAD tools, Microsoft Project, budgeting, and work accounting programs. The profile is completed by demonstrating proactivity, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to actively relate to other internal and external technical functions.

Planned activities

Activities: • Assist the Technical Management in studying costs, timelines, solutions, and quality expectations on all issues related to planning, permits, design, tenders, construction, and delivery of works. • Draft reports, prepare presentations on various projects, reports, and improvement proposals, also developing estimated metric calculations. • Support the technical structure in the phase of supplier research and subsequent assignment of works. • Plan and coordinate the activities of workers and equipment during the operational phase of the construction site. • Monitor project progress according to contractual programs and established timelines. • Check the quality of works executed by contractors and subcontractors. • Verify site accounts, work progress reports (SAL). • Be a point of reference on projects for the company, for the project management, for designers, and for external consultants including the safety coordinator and the project manager. • Report any delays and reservations to suppliers and clients regarding contractual obligations and the established timeline. • Support the Technical Management in analyzing and interpreting risks, identifying corrective actions by interpreting the deviations analyzed of the individual project compared to what was planned. • Resolve any issues that may arise during the project execution. • Be responsible for the correct filing of project-related documentation. • Other activities as required by the role.
