Description

The intern will be placed in the Mechanical Engineering and Design team and will be involved in the development and structural validation, through FEM simulations, of elements intended for lifting and supporting pressure vessels, in accordance with current technical and safety regulations.

Expected activities

  • Analysis of design requirements
  • Setup and execution of static and/or dynamic FEM simulations
  • Verification of results according to standards (e.g., ASME, EN, etc.)
  • Optimization of components with a view to safety and efficiency
  • Drafting of technical reports and documentation to support design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Basic knowledge of finite element analysis (FEM) methods
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and FEM tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation, Ansys, Abaqus)
  • Good technical analysis skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in mechanical design and structural testing

What we offer

  • Induction into a highly qualified technical team
  • Hands-on experience on real projects with high technical content
  • Ongoing training and opportunities for growth in the design field
