Description

The Site Process Engineer is the person characterized by a strong passion for the supply chain, with skills in analyzing logistics flows, viewing warehouse activities, interfacing with the customer, and devising optimization and efficiency solutions.

What responsibilities does he/she oversee?

• Processes data and analyzes site logistics flows;
• Collects in a database operations data on activity performance in compliance with KPIs that is forwarded to the Operation Manager;
• Is the interface with the Customer in case of operations change requests and to ensure the quality of the process;
• Analyzes and maps the warehouse to optimize logistics flows and material picking;
• Performs design, technical development and optimization activities (2D and 3D layout, IN/OUT flow analysis, MDO sizing, storage logic definition, picking);
• Monitors service levels;
• Analyzes processes from a Lean perspective;
• Manages NCs and processes corrective actions using RCAs;
• Plans warehouse inventory.

Candidate requirements

What prerequisites do you possess? - Bachelor's degree in management engineering (preferred) or equivalent - Good knowledge of the Office package, particularly Excel and Access - Excellent knowledge of the English language - Good problem solving skills - Good initiative and communication skills - Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
