Mondovì (CN), the first Valeo site founded in Italy, is the largest in terms of employees and surface area today. The Mondovi plant is focused on the production of Powertrain Systems (Dual Mass Flywheels + Clutches).

As a Purchasing Trainee in Valeo Mondovì you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker Companies, in the automotive product development field, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Candidate requirements

Education: Engineering Degree. Competences required: good negotiation and communication skills; organizational/coordination skills; committed to problem analysis and problem solving skills; MS excel. Language: Italian mother tongue, fluent English, French nice to have. If you DO NOT meet all the requirements, don't worry, we want to meet you too!

Planned activities

You will learn how to: Support the analysis and calculation of the main purchasing indicators Analyze the suppliers' cost breakdown Support the monitoring of improvement activities and cost reduction of the purchase components Support the Productivity Buyers in the preparation and negotiations with the suppliers Support the application of the V5000 Supplier Integration axis Standards (internal referential, certifications, procedures, purchasing tools, information systems)
