We have an exciting new opening for a Research and Development Test Lab Engineer Intern. You’ll be given the opportunity to develop next generation products and technologies for the automotive industry.
We are looking for the brightest minds from around the world to join us on the Garrett Motion R&D Internship Program in Czech republic for year 2025.
We are offering full time internship cooperation in mechanical and electrical field in our development center in Brno, Czech republic.
Candidate requirements
Student in last year (of Masters) of Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics od PhD Have taken courses in the design of electrical machines Experience of finite element software for electric machine design Basic Knowledge of power electronics and inverter operation Experience with programming languages e.g. Python, VBA Self-motivated, flexible, independent Good communication skills in both written and spoken English Duration: 5-6monthsPlanned activities
Work on electric machine technology performing Electromagnetic design of high power density e-machine for Formula Student Work as a team with the E-machine mechanical designer and thermal engineer to develop the E-Machine from concept to design optimization & the potential to kick off the validation steps for proto & testing of the motor The project will require benchmarking of technologies, concept geometries, exotic features & suppliers as you work with the Student Formula car teams to optimize the system to fit their needs Interact with subject matter experts in systems, power electronics, eMachine control, mechanical and thermal engineering Exposure to business products and processes that drive next generation technology with the opportunity to create & present a business case Opportunity to innovate, create and drive a project from start to finish, taking ownership and finding solutions to meet overall goalsIscriviti per poterti candidare!
