Position Snapshot

  • Nestlé in Italy, Milan HQ
  • Undergraduates or graduates in engineering or equivalent. Theoretical knowledge (university level) about Planning and key DSP, Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (Short work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a plus)
  • Full-time internship (6 months)
  • Start date: May-June

Main Purpose of the Job
As support for Senior supply planner, support the replenishment of products (Buitoni, Garden Gourmet, Maggi, Thomy) to the main warehouse with the objective to maintain the optimal stock cover level with a high freshness to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost.

Participate in the implementation of projects to improve inter-functional supply chain processes with the objective of reducing total delivered costs. Development of reporting and analytical tools in Demand & Supply area. Collaboration with the category DSP teams in the day-to-day ensuring supply activities.

Key Outputs / Deliverables

  • Analyze and evaluate the supply plan, agree with producer the best supply profile
  • Integrate processes with Information System applications (SAP) to reduce manual activities and improve automatism
  • Implement processes improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time saving, increased efficiencies, etc.);

What will make you successful

  • Management engineering degree or equivalent
  • Short experience in Supply Chain/Operations
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Power bi (SAP is a plus)
  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Collaborate proactively with innovative and constructive approach
  • Mental agility, insight, analysis and synthesis
  • Fluent English and Italian
