Description

As an intern for the Application Engineer team in Pavia, Italy, you will be part of a world-class team providing support for industry-leading networking Ethernet products. The candidate will be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment with teams from analog, software, and firmware to hardware developers. As a member of the Central Engineering System team, you will be involved in testing and prototype process activities using advanced software automation and test equipment.

The support team will analyze, bring up, debug, and characterize silicon-level Marvell’s internal IPs, such as High-Speed SerDes, PLL/DLL, and ADC, for various Marvell products.

Work includes some but not limited to:

• Execute bench-level validation test plans, develop tests for FW candidate release regression, develop script in Python to automate testing,
• Generate appropriate test reports.
• Provide technical support to the team to support customers in resolving all technical issues and for furnishing collateral documentation related to technical matters,

Candidate must be eligible to work in the country of hire without restrictions.

What We’re Looking For

• A final year M aster’s student in Electronic Engineering or related fields OR a recent Master’s graduate
• Experience in Python, C/C++, Matlab or equivalent
• Familiarity with FPGA design flows is a plus
• Familiarity with high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, BERTs is a plus
• Good attitude in problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to commute to Pavia a few days per week (hybrid work)
• Candidate  must be eligible to work in the country of hire without restrictions.
