Description

SPEA S.p.A., company worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of testing systems for semiconductors and electronic boards, is looking for a MEMS Test Engineer.

 

Activities:

1. Testability Analysis

  • Understand and communicate to team members the customer’s testing needs
  • Analyze the specifications of the components to be tested, finding the best match with hardware specs and software features to build-up a complete Testability Report
  • Estimate resources and time required to develop the test application, collaborating with the project manager during the project execution to match the expected delivery date.

2. Hardware & Test Program Design

  • Design the interconnection hardware between the tester and the device to be tested, both for wafer test (EWS) and final test (FT)
  • Develop test programs, using SPEA systems operating software and programming instructions

3. Debug & Troubleshooting

  • Debug the interconnection hardware and Test Program verifying their proper operations and adherence to initial specifications
  • Verify the Test Application produced test data compliant with the customer requirements though statistical data processing
  • Final validation of the application at the customer’s production site and related start-up
  • Customer point of contact for all Engineering Support activities and follow-up in production

 

Candidate requirements

Master Degree in Electronics Knowledge of C / C ++ programming language Knowledge and use of multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generator Electrical schematics and PCB design skills Troubleshooting mindset Good knowledge of spoken and written English Willingness to intercontinetal travel Strong attitude for team work, interpersonal and problem solving skills

Planned activities

1. CUSTOMER Catch and deal with customer's testing needs 2.TESTABILITY REPORT Analyzes specifications of components to be tested and find the best match with hardware and software 3. DEVELOPMENT TIME EVALUATION Estimate resources and time required to develop the test application giving feedback to the project manager 4. HARDWARE DESIGN Hardware design between the tester and the device to be tested 5. TEST PROGRAM DESIGN Test program design using SPEA systems operating software and programming languages, and verifies their proper operation and adherence to initial specifications 6. DEBUG/TROUBLESHOOTING Debug hardware and software parts of the test application 7. FINAL VALIDATION Final Validation and Installation of the application at the customer's production site and its start-up 8.ENGINEERING SUPPORT Follow-up activities in production
