Barter is looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join our team software engineers. The ideal candidate will be in charge forr design and development and maintaining our web applications, ensuring a smooth user experience and intuitive for our customers. You will collaborate with the cross-functional team to develop new functionality, improve system performance and resolve any technical problems.

Duties:

  • Design, develop and maintain Ruby on Rails web applications
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement innovative technical solutions
  • Optimize system performance and improve user experience
  • Solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions
  • Participate in code review and agile development process
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in the sector

Requirements:

  • Experience developing web applications with Ruby on Rails
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, well-documented code
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or experience equivalent)
