Description

The Maintainability/Serviceability Engineer is supporting our Technical Service Office in the After-Market Solution Department.

The main tasks are to perform Logistics / Supportability / Maintainability Engineering tasks, conduct modeling and repair level analysis to minimize Operating and Support (O&S) costs, conduct Maintenance Planning and Provisioning Analysis, and assign tasks to ensure Supportability and Affordability requirements are achieved in the design.

Candidate requirements

• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent education • A minimum of experience in a similar role for a defense, aerospace, or automotive company is preferred • Very good written and verbal English communication skills. • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio). • Strong technical background • Ability to manipulate and analyze computer-aided design models using a 3-D viewer • Knowledge of CAD Software (Catia or other) for parts and task analysis • Human Factors Engineering knowledge

Planned activities

• Conduct a Maintenance Planning Analysis that identifies all preventative and corrective maintenance actions along with required spares and support equipment and the need for each maintenance action and documents this analysis. • Design Special tools needed to perform maintenance. • Calculate Spare parts needs and identification. • Provide support to Engineering staff for logistics requirement definition and allocation, detailed design guidance, system integration, and requirement verification • Provide Supportability / Maintainability analysis data to customers, design engineers, and program management • Work closely with Logistics / Maintainability, Test and Design Engineering
