Description

As part of the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team, we offer a training internship opportunity for young talents interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of workplace safety within an industrial environment. The internship will take place at our Altopascio (LU) plant and will have an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Candidate requirements

During your internship, you will support the HSE team in the following activities: Review and update of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR): You will assist in gathering and analyzing the necessary data, contributing to the update of the document in accordance with current regulations and evolving production processes. Analysis and implementation of the internal “Stairs and Ladders” standard: You will support the adaptation and enforcement of the company’s internal standard regarding the safe use of stairs and ladders, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices. Support in the implementation of the “Tool Safety” program: You will help roll out the program aimed at improving tool safety across the site, working closely with production departments to raise awareness and support training initiatives.

Planned activities

A recent graduate or final-year student in Engineering (preferably Management, Mechanical, or Environmental) or related fields with a strong interest in workplace safety Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills A proactive team player, with a problem-solving mindset A good command of English is considered a plus
