WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will collaborate with your tutor in:
- Support in production planning and control: Assist in the organization of daily activities and in the monitoring of times and resources used in the production processes.
- Process optimization: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Interdepartmental collaboration: Work in conjunction with other departments, such as HSE, quality and maintenance, to ensure a seamless flow in the production chain.
- Support in the implementation of new projects: Participate in continuous improvement projects or in the implementation of new methodologies in the production area.
- Develop and implement new tools (digital OEE, WMS, digital PME room, etc).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Student of Industrial Engineering (last year preferably), Production, or related.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Data Analysis: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to generate useful insights and make process adjustments is essential, especially for creating indicators and management reports.
- Knowledge of Digital Production Tools: Basic understanding or willingness to learn tools like OEE, WMS, or digital planning systems. These tools are increasingly vital in modern production environments.
- Technical Documentation Skills: Ability to create and update operational documentation (OPL, SOP, IT), with attention to detail and an understanding of processes to ensure accuracy and clarity in manuals and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts and methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. This knowledge enables the identification and proposal of process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel): Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables and charts, are essential for data analysis and managing indicators.
