JOB DESCRIPTION:  

EURES Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is seeking technicians for a well-known company in The Netherlands, who can maintain and repair machines, installations or systems. For example, think of technicians in the installation sector (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) or mechanical engineering (maintaining machines). Electricians who work on the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in homes, businesses or industries are essential. From installing solar panels to installing charging stations for electric vehicles. 

Candidate requirements

Educational requirement and experience requirement: The requirements for a technician in the Netherlands are often at least an MBO education (level 2 to 4). The most common training courses for a technician are: Level 2: Assistant fitter / basic vocational training Level 3: Independent fitter Level 4: First fitter / supervisor fitter. Common training courses include: MBO Electrotechnical Fitter MBO Mechanical Engineering Fitter MBO Installation Technology MBO Automotive Technology MBO Mechatronics Experience requirements (vary per function): Starting function (level 2 or 3): often no or limited work experience required, in this case an internship experience during the MBO training is often sufficient. Advanced functions (level 3 or 4): 1–3 years of relevant work experience, knowledge of specific installations or systems and skills in fault analysis, maintenance plans and reports Specialist/supervisory functions: more than 3 years of work experience and possibly additional certificates such as: VCA (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors) NEN 3140 (safe working on electrical installations) gas certificate (for refrigeration technology) Desired competencies, language requirements and other requirements: Technical insight Solution-oriented thinking Accuracy and safety awareness Driving license B is often a plus Dutch proficiency (sometimes English too, depending on employer)
